Hosted By: Shakespeare Theatre Co., 2129 G street NW, Washington, D.C.
Join Gary Logan and Lisa Beley and Gerry Trentham to explore breath in relationship to vocal and physical action, and techniques to get the most out of dramatic texts. The day will focus on building a flexible range of embodied text, through breath, rhythm, and elasticity. The sessions including Movement and Rhythm, Breath/Voice Work for the Actor, and Text Analysis & Integration. With individualized feedback from three of the finest master teachers in the industry the training sequence will culminate in performance that integrates new learning and expands the actor's pallet and presence.

Seasoned actors and advanced performance students are invited to renew and revitalize their craft. Directors and playwrights can gain a more profound understanding of the actor’s craft as well as a new organic process for their work. Dancers and movers and performance artists can expect to find a deeper connection to their own bodies through the window of their resonant voices. Students will develop new  tools for their toolbox.
